"nate riggs" "social business strategies tv" "vimeo nate riggs"If you’re in business you know that being able to present your ideas, projects, products and services is a must.  Most of us are likely familiar with certain applications, like PowerPoint and Keynote, as the go-to standards in presentation software.  What you may not know is that for the last few years SlideRocket has been working to change that game through innovation.

SlideRocket was founded in 2006, by Mitch Grasso and Mike Lingle, with the vision of building a new type of presentation experience.  This SaaS model delivers a presentation platform that caters to individuals and businesses around the world by providing a variety of product features, including everything from slide sharing capabilities to presentation analytics.

I’m grateful to have had the chance to speak with their new CEO, Chuck Dietrich.  In the interview, Chuck lets me in on how the company has developed since the last time I wrote about SlideRocket, as well as the company’s upcoming involvement in SXSW.

If you can’t view the video, watch it on the Social Business Strategies TV on Vimeo.

On the subject of SXSW, check out the promotional presentation that Chuck and friends produced using their software.  I’m a fan.

Have you used SlideRocket?  Do you know of any competitors they might be up against?

  • Nate, thanks for the post. Jacob, we have a 30 day trial, then you can opt for one of two paid editions (Business or Individual Edition) or a scaled back Free edition. Enjoy!
    Nate, see you at SXSW!
  • Thanks Jake. The BETA version was free in 06 and 07, but they seem to have built enough volume to move to a trial only model. Great features though. Wonder what this will mean for products like GoTo Meeting and WebEx?
  • Great interview Nate! SlideRocket looks like a really great tool for presentations. Wish they had a free version, but hey - it's a business and they have a great tool, so why not charge?
